Rules

1. The content must be derived from Chinese source material. Manhua, Donghua, Film, TV shows, novels, and myths are all acceptable.
2. This work must be your own original work & must not be previously published or revealed publicly. Translations are currently only accepted as secondary creations.
3. Any type of creation is acceptable: textiles (patterns for textiles too), podfic, art, manipulations, fanvids, sculptures, fanfic, etc.
4. There are four check-ins: one at the beginning of each month and one right before posting. They will be emailed out. Please respond to them ASAP.
5. The third check-in will be about picking dates. Currently we plan to have a Google calendar with which groups can pick their date. No more then three groups will be revealed per day to keep consumption fatigue low.
6. Partners are not required to participate in this challenge. You may bring your own, you can choose to have one assigned to you, or you can work it alone. We will try our very best to give everyone who wants a partner one. This may not be a traditional writer & artist pair-up.
7. Primary Creator sign-ups close the last day of November. Any sign-up after that would be as a secondary creator or pitch hither.
8. The final collection will be hosted on AO3. Please have an AO3 account. If you do not have one, let us know and we'll do the best we can to provide one for you. It is to this collection your final work must be posted. Links to finished works will then be crossposted to the official Twitter, Tumblr and Dreamwidth accounts on date of reveal. Further questions may be directed to these accounts.
9. A work may be released in installations (such as a four piece set of art releasing one piece per the week of March or a multichaptered work releasing chapters every third day) but should be published in its entirety by the end of the posting period (currently the end of March, but may be extended if needed.)
10. When a work is posted to AO3 collection, make sure it contains all appropriate content warnings. If you have questions about which ones are appropriate, an admin will help you.
11. Remixes and works based off of existing, published fanworks are not accepted. This includes works such as translations, podfics, bead art, pottery, etc. Remixes and works based off of a fanwork that is a Chinese Fandom Big Bang entry are accepted. Remixes and works based off a fanwork that has never seen the light of day are also accepted.
